Audi has shown the official images of the new version of the Audi A7 Sportback, a four-seater GT that gets inside the premium segment as one of the cars with the highest standing within the range of the brand of the four rings. It is an update of the 2014 model and uses technology similar to that which the new version of the A8 also has.
All the engines that this car will have will include the same semi-hybrid technology as the A8, with a 48-volt electric system connected to the V6 engines. Thanks to a belt-driven alternator it can run in electric mode (it also has lithium batteries) between 55 and 160 kilometers per hour. In fact, in this way it can run with the gasoline engine disconnected, and can be started at any time thanks to the alternator itself.
It also has dynamic four-wheel steering: at over 60 kilometers per hour the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the front wheels to improve stability and help change lanes. It has active safety systems such as adaptive cruise control, adaptive driving assistant or predictive efficiency assistant, which helps to drive in a way that optimizes fuel consumption.

It features a 7-speed S tronic transmission, quattro all-wheel drive system, five-link front suspension, shock absorbers with continuous attenuation control, electromechanical acceleration, ceramic disc brakes, front 6-piston monobloc aluminum brake calipers, rear floating calipers and 21-inch tires.
